Textile DPP data fields — the full list
83 fields, 7 groups, 13 required. What each one means, what to enter, and a CSV you can hand to merchandising today.
A Digital Product Passport is a fixed set of data fields, and most of them are collected at the factory. This is the full field list DPPLive uses for a garment passport: 83 fields in 7 groups, of which 13 are required before a passport can be approved (marked ★). The same list is the column set of the Excel import template inside the platform, so what you prepare here imports as-is.

Where the fields come from. ESPR (Regulation (EU) 2024/1781) Article 9(2)(a) and Annex III list the data a delegated act can require in a passport, including the Article 7(2)(b) and 7(5) information; Annex I lists the product parameters ecodesign requirements build on; Articles 9 and 10 set the passport and data-carrier requirements; Article 12 the identifiers; Article 13 the registry. Which of these become mandatory for textiles will be fixed by the Textile Delegated Act (expected 2027). Until then this list is DPPLive's working model: the fields we expect a factory to supply, organised the way a factory collects them. Fields marked ★ are the ones a passport cannot be published without today.

How to use this list
- Give one person ownership of the list (merchandising usually holds half the fields, compliance the other half).
- Fill the 13 ★ fields first for your top three styles. That is enough to publish a first passport and get a QR code onto a hangtag.
- Collect the Compliance group from suppliers with a one-page declaration form; most gaps sit there.
- Add Environment data when you have twelve months of utility bills; the carbon footprint guide explains the ISO 14067 route.
- Check your readiness with the free 20-question assessment, then import the sheet into DPPLive.
