For buying houses

Every factory, every passport, one portal

Your factories publish once. You give each brand access to what is theirs. The data request stops being a spreadsheet you send every season.

A buying house sits between the brand that must publish the Digital Product Passport and the factories that hold the data. For years that has meant collecting the same spreadsheets from the same factories for every buyer. DPPLive turns the collection into a record: each factory publishes its passports once, and you give each brand access to the ones they need.

What the agent portal does

  • One view of all your factories. Which styles have a passport, which are drafts, which fields are missing. You see the gaps before the brand asks.
  • Access by brand. Grant a buyer access to the passports of the factories producing for them, and nothing else. Factories keep ownership of their data.
  • Sourcing map. Where the passports for a programme are made, which buyers have access, which factories need attention.
  • The same 83 fields for everyone. No more three versions of the same data request. The field list is public; send it to a new factory on day one.
  • Traceability that will be asked for anyway. Tier-1 and Tier-2 supplier records, origin of cotton, yarn and fabric, audit status. The guide supply chain traceability for buying houses explains the four tiers and what the Forced Labour Regulation requires from 14 December 2027.

Why a buying house should do this first

Brands will ask for passports from 2027–28. A buying house whose factories already publish on a common platform answers in a day; one whose factories do not answers in a quarter. The agent who brings the passport to the brand before the brand asks for it is the agent whose programme is not re-sourced.

There is also direct business in it. A buyer who scans a DPPLive passport can send an inquiry to the manufacturer; an agent can be named on the factory's profile so the inquiry comes through you.

How it works for a buying house

  1. Register as an agent and add the factories you work with. Factories you bring onto DPPLive get the free pilot: one style, four weeks, a live passport at the end.
  2. Put the data request to work. Each factory fills its passports; your dashboard shows completion by factory and by style.
  3. Give each brand access to what is theirs. The brand approves; the passport goes live with the identifiers the EU registry expects.

Cost

The agent portal is part of a custom plan, priced for a group of factories under one agreement. Individual factories can also use the Free plan on their own: up to 10 DPPs a month at no cost. See pricing or write to us with the number of factories; we respond within 24 hours in English or বাংলা.
